We had a lovely stay at Walpole Wilderness Resort. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. A special thanks to Maria for being a wonderful host and making our stay easy and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Walpole.

We had a great time during our stay. The farm is beautiful and the location is perfect for a weekend getaway. Both Maria and Jim were super friendly and considerate. Our kids spent most the time playing with the goats at their farm. We also joined Jim during animal feeding and learnt a few good things about goats and Emus.
Overall, great experience. Highly recommended for families with young kids 🙏

This place is everything you need to escape the noise of everyday life. It's peaceful and beautifully set in nature, with the sounds and company of emus, goats, and ducks around. We enjoyed a cozy evening by the fireplace, and the kids absolutely loved the spa :) The host was very friendly, and it was lovely chatting with him. A wonderful and relaxing stay- we would happily come back!

A very remote and quiet location. Emus were present along with the friendly goat.
Fortunate to have a break in the clouds to see the Milky Way.
Accomodation was clean and met our needs for a one night stay.

We had an amazing time! The cabin is super cozy and the owners super friendly! We got to meet all the animals and even feed the Emus! It was worth the drive :)

What a gem of a place! We had an absolutely comfortable and amazing stay. The animals, the cozy fireplace, the hot tub with a view. We loved it all! A pity we couldnt stay longer. Thank you Maria!

The wilderness resort was wonderful! The chalet was cozy for the three of us, and had all the listed amenities. Maria was very helpful and responsive. We especially enjoyed watching all the goats and emus roam the grounds. Very friendly when they came up to our porch! Highly recommend!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt an einem wunderschönen Ort. Die Unterkunft ist grossartig (besonders die tolle Badewanne) und es war so schön auf der Veranda zu essen und zu frühstücken und dabei den Schafen und Ziegen zuzuschauen.
Wie wurden herzlich empfangen - vom Gastgeber und auch von den Ziegen. Rundum ein schöner Aufenthalt und sehr zu empfehlen.

We had such a lovely stay at this cozy stilted wooden cabin in Walpole. The place felt incredibly warm and welcoming, surrounded by peaceful nature which made it the perfect stop on our road trip down south.
Our host Jim was exceptionally friendly and kind. He even showed me around the property and let me help feed the lambs and emus — such a unique and memorable experience! We spent quite some time chatting and it really made us feel at home.
I especially loved the spa in the master bedroom — it was the perfect way to relax after a long drive from Esperance. The only regret was that we didn’t bring any meat with us this time, otherwise it would have been amazing to have a BBQ under the stars.
I’m sure I’ll be bringing my friends back here on our next trip. Highly recommended!

this place was awesome. super friendly goats were fun and the views from the spa were amazing. sitting on the balcony having a coffee in the morning was so peaceful.
